EIG
Within Wales, all schools are provided with an additional sum of grant funding in order to help them with the ongoing school improvement journey. This funding is known as the Education Improvement Grant (or EIG), and is used by schools in order to put in place resources or staffing that will allow for high quality teaching and learning to be in place in school, in addition to the funding received as part of formula allocation from the Local Authority. It is the discretion of the school, in line with the school development plan, to direct what this funding is used for. Please find below our EIG spending plan.
