Welcome

Welcome to Trelewis Primary School!

Trelewis Primary school is a Primary school located in the village of Trelewis. Our school serves the communities of Trelewis and surrounding areas and caters for pupils aged 3 - 11. Trelewis Primary School is a happy school where all of our pupils are given every opportunity to meet their full potential and 'Reach for the Stars'.

Our school building is a modern building with well-resourced classrooms to support the learning process. There are 8 classes within the school ranging from Nursery to Year 6, with a mix of both single and mixed year groups. The school is equipped with various ICT resources, books, library areas and day-to-day resources that will allow our pupils to carry out the tasks they are set to develop their learning.

Our school grounds include our school yard, forest, field and school gardening area. There is plenty of space around the school to provide our pupils with lots of different environments in which to explore their learning. The Pupils, Governors, Staff and Parents of our school work hard together to ensure that our school is a happy and successful place. We also work closely with our local Community through various projects run at the school.

Trelewis Primary School is located just off the main high street in Trelewis and can be accessed via the school footbridge. There is also a rear access point off Cherry Tree way, which can be used at the start and end of the school day.  We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

Trelewis Primary School is part of the Taff Bargoed Learning Partnership, a Federation between both ourselves and Bedlinog Community Primary School. Through our federated approach, we aim to ensure that all of our pupils are provided with the very best teaching and learning experiences. The Partner schools in our federation work hard together in order to share resources, share practice and improve the enrichment and experiences that pupils are able to take part in whilst at school. For more information, please see the 'Taff Bargoed Learning Partnership' section of our website.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school!
